Introducing Online Bill Payment from Umatilla Electric Cooperative
You've always depended on Umatilla Electric Cooperative for reliable and cost-efficient utility service. And now, UEC gives you another value-added service with our new online bill payment option. Online bill payment is a fast, safe and secure way to pay utility bills through the Internet from wherever or whenever you choose.
UEC's state-of-the-art system includes a personal password protected gateway and a secure socket layer that guarantees your credit information remains confidential. So, all you have to do is sign up online, enter your credit card information and make your life a little less complicated starting today!
The Average Billing plan allows members to pay the average of the past 12 months of usage. An estimated annual bill is divided by 12 months to calculate the initial monthly budget bill amount, which is subject to adjustment. This option is perfect for people who don't want to guess what their monthly payment will be and it eliminates large fluctuations between winter and summer bills. It's an amount members can count on when doing their home budget planning.
Select Due Date is designed to help match your payments with the time of the month when you can most afford to pay them. With flexible billing, the cooperative can move your billing to a different payment cycle, depending on the date each month when your income makes it easiest to pay.
Credit & Debit cards. UEC accepts VISA and MasterCard debit and credit cards for bill payments. You can pay your bill over the phone or in person with your debit or credit card. UEC also accepts the First USA "Co-op Power Plus" card, where you can earn rebates on your power bill payments.
Automatic Withdrawal is another option for members. The amount of your monthly bill is simply withdrawn from the bank account you specify, either checking or savings. You don't have to write a check or go out to pay the bill.
