ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER. Umatilla Electric Cooperative (UEC), headquartered in Hermiston, Oregon, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of electrical systems engineer. Experience in the design, operation and maintenance of transmission, substation and distribution systems, including planning studies, system protection and project management is desired. The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis. A minimum of 3 years utility engineering experience is preferred. UEC operates and maintains over 120 miles of 115 kV transmission line and over 1,900 miles of 12.47 kV distribution line along with 28 substation and switching stations. UEC employs state-of-the-art systems and analysis tools which provides for challenging and rewarding work in a small town setting.
