General Service Rate - Schedule 2
Available:In all territory served by Umatilla Electric Cooperative in Umatilla, Morrow and Union Counties in Oregon.
Applicable:
Seasonal accounts, three-phase residential accounts, domestic accounts, single-phase irrigation accounts and commercial accounts that have a historical measured demand of less than 25 kW are billed on this rate schedule. All electric service is supplied at one point of connection.
Basic Charge Monthly Annual For single-phase Domestic, Seasonal, and Commercial Accounts: $16.00 $192.00
Energy Charge:
8.67 cents per kWh
BPA Rate Mitigation Product:
During May, June, July and August UEC expects to purchase a block of power from BPA for use by UEC's irrigators. UEC expects that this power will be about 0.70 cents per kWh less than BPA's other rate to UEC. Any savings that UEC receives from this BPA Rate Mitigation Product will be distributed to UEC's irrigators.
Franchise Taxes:
The amounts of any franchise fees or taxes levied on UEC by a quasi-municipal entity will be added to the customer's bill.
Billing:
Billings may be issued monthly, seasonally, or yearly. If UEC determines that conditions, such as low usage or poor access to the meter, do not justify reading monthly, then readings may be less often or yearly.
Minimum Charge:
The minimum monthly charge shall be the sum of the Basic, Energy and Franchise Charges. A higher minimum may be required under contract to cover special conditions.
Continuing Service:
This schedule is based on continuing service at each service location. If a customer disconnects a service for a period of time and then reconnects the service, UEC will bill the customer for all minimum monthly charges that were missed while the service was disconnected.
Regulations:
Service under this classification is subject to the Rules, Regulations and Policies of UEC.
